     125A.515 Placement of children without disabilities; 
  approval of education program. 

    The commissioner shall approve education programs in care 
 and treatment facilities for placement of children without 
 disabilities before being licensed by the department of human 
 services or the department of corrections.  For the purposes of 
 this section, care and treatment facilities includes adult 
 facilities that admit children and provide an education program 
 specifically designed for children who are residents of the 
 facility including chemical dependency and other substance abuse 
 programs, shelter care facilities, hospitals, correctional 
 facilities, mental health programs, and detention facilities.
