303.11 NOTICE OF NAME CHANGES, WHERE FILED.
Each foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state, shall, whenever it changes its name, dissolves, or merges, certify to the secretary of state that it has obtained and possesses a certificate to that effect authenticated by the proper officer of the state or country under the laws of which the corporation is organized.
