72B.045 CONTINUING EDUCATION.

Subdivision 1.Requirement.

An individual who holds an adjuster license and who is not exempt under this section must satisfactorily complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education courses, of which three hours must be in ethics, reported to the commissioner on a biennial basis in conjunction with the individual's license renewal cycle.

Subd. 2.Exceptions.

This section does not apply to:

(1) a licensee not licensed for one full year prior to the end of the applicable continuing education biennium; or

(2) a licensee holding a nonresident adjuster license who has met the continuing education requirements of the licensee's designated home state.
