473.846 REPORT TO LEGISLATURE.
The agency shall submit to the senate Finance Committee, the house Ways and Means
Committee, and the Environment and Natural Resources Committees of the senate and house
of representatives, the Finance Division of the senate Committee on Environment and Natural
Resources, and the house of representatives Committee on Environment and Natural Resources
Finance separate reports describing the activities for which money for landfill abatement has been
spent under sections 473.844 and 473.845. The agency shall report by November 1 of each year
on expenditures during its previous fiscal year. The commissioner shall report on expenditures
during the previous calendar year and must incorporate its report in the report required by section
115A.411, due July 1 of each odd-numbered year. The commissioner shall make recommendations
to the Environment and Natural Resources Committees of the senate and house of representatives,
the Finance Division of the senate Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, and the
house of representatives Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Finance on the future
management and use of the metropolitan landfill abatement account.
