450.19 TOURIST CAMPING GROUNDS.
A home rule charter or statutory city or town may establish and maintain public tourist
camping grounds. The governing body thereof may acquire by lease, purchase, or gift, suitable
lands located either within or without the corporate limits for use as public tourist camping
grounds and provide for the equipment, operation, and maintenance of the same. The amount that
may be expended for the maintenance, improvement, or operation of tourist camping grounds
shall not exceed, in any year, a sum equal to 0.00806 percent of taxable market value.
