     43A.41 Definitions. 

    Subdivision 1.    Interpretation.  For the purposes of 
 sections 43A.40 to 43A.46 the following terms shall have the 
 meanings given them in this section.  

    Subd. 2.    Agency.  "Agency" means a department, 
 agency, commission, board, institution, or other entity in the 
 executive branch in which all positions are under the same 
 appointing authority.  

    Subd. 3. Repealed, 1983 c 145 s 9 

    Subd. 4.    Shared position.  "Shared position" means a 
 position which has been converted from a full-time position into 
 part-time positions which are in the same classification series 
 and bargaining unit or plan for purposes of sections 43A.40 to 
 43A.46. 

    Subd. 5.    Program.  "Program" means the Minnesota job 
 sharing program.  

    Subd. 6.    Appropriate shared time percent.  
 "Appropriate shared time percent" means the percent of full-time 
 hours allocated to a particular shared time position.
