     156.10 Unlawful practice without license or permit. 

    It shall be unlawful for any person to practice veterinary 
 medicine in the state without having first secured a license or 
 temporary permit, as provided in this chapter, and any person 
 violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a 
 gross misdemeanor and punished therefor according to the laws of 
 the state.
