148B.591 PROHIBITION AGAINST UNLICENSED PRACTICE OR USE OF TITLES.
Subdivision 1. Practice. After the effective date of rules adopted by the board, no individual
may engage in the practice of licensed professional counseling unless that individual holds a valid
license or is exempt from licensure under section 148B.592.
Subd. 2. Use of titles. After the board adopts rules, no individual may be presented to the
public by any title or practice incorporating the words "licensed professional counselor" or "LPC"
unless that individual holds a valid license issued under sections 148B.50 to 148B.593.
