2002 Minnesota Statutes

     525.541 Petitioners. 

    Any person may petition for the appointment of a guardian 
 or conservator or for a protective order for any person believed 
 to be subject to guardianship or conservatorship.  The petition 
 of an adult person for the appointment of a guardian or 
 conservator of that person or that person's estate shall have 
 priority over the petition of any other person.
