     192A.315 Execution of sentence; suspension or deferment 
  of sentence. 

    Except as provided in sections 192A.12 and 192A.345 a 
 court-martial sentence, unless suspended, may be ordered 
 executed by the convening authority when it is approved.  The 
 convening authority shall approve the sentence or such part, 
 amount, or commuted form of the sentence as the convening 
 authority sees fit and may suspend or defer the execution of the 
 sentence as approved by the convening authority.
