     508.835 Disposal of canceled duplicates; receipt cards. 

    The registrar of titles is hereby authorized to destroy 
 owner's duplicate certificates marked "canceled," upon the entry 
 of a new owner's duplicate certificate, and the receipt cards 
 for such "canceled" certificates.
