1305.0603 SECTION 603, COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS IN TYPE I AND TYPE II CONSTRUCTION.

IBC section 603.1 is amended by adding an item to the numerical list as follows:

27. When not exceeding 48 inches above the roof deck, wood is permitted to be used in roof construction for equipment support, building or roof system joints, skylight or mechanical equipment, curbs, cants, blocking and backing, and for parapet or roof edge construction.
