7601.8000 BIODIESEL BLEND QUANTIFICATION METHOD "MN BIODIESEL 2005" INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE.

Subpart 1.

"MN Biodiesel 2005" test method.

The director, in consultation with the National Biodiesel Board and the Governor's Task Force on Biodiesel, shall publish a test method, known as "MN Biodiesel 2005," for the quantification of biodiesel blends for the purpose of enforcing the biodiesel requirement in diesel fuel. The director shall use this method for enforcement purposes until a suitable, nationally accepted method exists, such as a method adopted by the American Society for Testing and Materials.

Subp. 2.

Location.

The director shall make available a copy of the method, which is incorporated by reference, and any updates or changes, including a nationally accepted method at the time it is available. The current version must be kept at the Minnesota State Law Library, Minnesota Judicial Center, 25 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Saint Paul, Minnesota, 55155; provided to petroleum terminals in Minnesota; posted on the department's Web site; and available upon request. The method is not subject to frequent change.
