7601.7010 VOLUNTARY REGISTRATION.

Subpart 1.

Placing in service registration.

The director will accept applications for voluntary registration in the placing in service program, and will issue annual registration certificates to qualified persons.

Subp. 2.

Application for voluntary registration.

An applicant shall provide the following information on an application form provided by the division:

A.

the applicant's name, business name, business address, and business telephone number;

B.

the applicant's Social Security number and Minnesota tax identification number;

C.

evidence that the applicant has the required test equipment available for use, and has met the equipment calibration requirements in part 7601.7080; and

D.

the category of weighing and measuring equipment that the applicant will service.
