4626.1180 SEWAGE HOLDING TANK CAPACITY AND DRAINAGE. 5-401.11

A.

A sewage holding tank in a mobile food unit or seasonal temporary food establishment must be:

(1)

sized 15 percent larger in capacity than the water supply tank; and

(2)

sloped to a drain that is 1 inch (25 millimeters) in inner diameter or greater, and equipped with a shut-off valve.

B.

The sewage must not be discharged on the ground.

C.

The regulatory authority may approve an alternate method for conveying and disposing of sewage from a mobile food unit or seasonal temporary food establishment in lieu of a waste-holding tank. The alternative method of conveying and disposing of sewage must meet the requirements of part 4626.1200.
