4626.1125 WATER RESERVOIR OF FOGGING DEVICES; CLEANING. 5-205.14

A.

A reservoir that is used to supply water to a produce fogger or similar device must be:

(1)

maintained according to the manufacturer's specifications;_P1 and

(2)

cleaned according to the manufacturer's specifications or according to the procedures in item B, whichever is more stringent._P1

B.

Cleaning procedures must include at least the following steps and must be conducted at least once a week:

(1)

draining and complete disassembly of the water and aerosol contact parts;_P1

(2)

brush-cleaning the reservoir, aerosol tubing, and discharge nozzles with a suitable detergent solution;_P1

(3)

flushing the complete system with water to remove the detergent solution and particulate accumulation;_P1 and

(4)

rinsing by immersing, spraying, or swabbing the reservoir, aerosol tubing, and discharge nozzles with an effective sanitizing chemical per the manufacturer's recommendations._P1
