4626.0545 KICK PLATES, REMOVABLE; ENCLOSED HOLLOW BASES. 4-202.17

A.

Kick plates must be designed so that the areas behind them are accessible for inspection and cleaning by being:

(1)

removable by one of the methods in part 4626.0515, item A, subitem (5), or capable of being rotated open; and

(2)

removable or capable of being rotated open without unlocking equipment doors.

B.

In new or extensively remodeled establishments, enclosed hollow bases are prohibited.
