2890.3300 SOIL BORING ADVANCEMENT.

Subpart 1.

General.

Costs for soil boring advancement are as described in this part.

Subp. 2.

Hollow-stem auger.

Hollow-stem auger drilling in sand, silt, or clay, with continuous sampling. Items A to D list the depth of the boring and the maximum cost per boring:

A.

0 - 25 feet, $932;

B.

26 - 50 feet, $932 plus $32 per foot beyond 25 feet;

C.

51 - 100 feet, $1,730 plus $56 per foot beyond 50 feet; and

D.

over 100 feet, $4,525 plus $70 per foot beyond 100 feet.

Subp. 3.

Mud or air rotary.

Mud or air rotary drilling in limestone or hard rock, with surface sampling only. Items A to D list the depth of the boring and the maximum cost per boring:

A.

0 - 25 feet, $1,697;

B.

26 - 50 feet, $1,697 plus $53 per foot beyond 25 feet;

C.

51 - 100 feet, $3,028 plus $62 per foot beyond 50 feet; and

D.

over 100 feet, $6,090 plus $80 per foot beyond 100 feet.

Subp. 4.

Air coring.

Air coring of limestone or hard rock with continuous sampling. Items A to D list the depth of the boring and the maximum cost per boring:

A.

0 - 25 feet, $1,863;

B.

26 - 50 feet, $1,863 plus $61 per foot beyond 25 feet;

C.

51 - 100 feet, $3,373 plus $63 per foot beyond 50 feet; and

D.

over 100 feet, $6,489 plus $89 per foot beyond 100 feet.

Subp. 5.

Rotosonic drilling.

Rotosonic drilling in sand, silt, or clay, with continuous sampling. Items A to D list the depth of the boring and the maximum cost per boring:

A.

0 - 25 feet, $1,931;

B.

26 - 50 feet, $1,931 plus $79 per foot beyond 25 feet;

C.

51 - 100 feet, $3,894 plus $85 per foot beyond 50 feet; and

D.

over 100 feet, $8,153 plus $111 per foot beyond 100 feet.
