2890.3300 SOIL BORING ADVANCEMENT.

Subpart 1.

General.

Costs for soil boring advancement are as described in this part.

Subp. 2.

Hollow-stem auger.

Hollow-stem auger drilling in sand, silt, or clay, with continuous sampling. Items A to D list the depth of the boring and the maximum cost per boring:

A.

0 - 25 feet, $1,025;

B.

26 - 50 feet, $1,025 plus $35 per foot beyond 25 feet;

C.

51 - 100 feet, $1,903 plus $62 per foot beyond 50 feet; and

D.

over 100 feet, $4,978 plus $77 per foot beyond 100 feet.

Subp. 3.

Mud or air rotary.

Mud or air rotary drilling in limestone or hard rock, with surface sampling only. Items A to D list the depth of the boring and the maximum cost per boring:

A.

0 - 25 feet, $1,867;

B.

26 - 50 feet, $1,867 plus $58 per foot beyond 25 feet;

C.

51 - 100 feet, $3,331 plus $68 per foot beyond 50 feet; and

D.

over 100 feet, $6,699 plus $88 per foot beyond 100 feet.

Subp. 4.

Air coring.

Air coring of limestone or hard rock with continuous sampling. Items A to D list the depth of the boring and the maximum cost per boring:

A.

0 - 25 feet, $2,049;

B.

26 - 50 feet, $2,049 plus $67 per foot beyond 25 feet;

C.

51 - 100 feet, $3,710 plus $69 per foot beyond 50 feet; and

D.

over 100 feet, $7,138 plus $98 per foot beyond 100 feet.

Subp. 5.

Rotosonic drilling.

Rotosonic drilling in sand, silt, or clay, with continuous sampling. Items A to D list the depth of the boring and the maximum cost per boring:

A.

0 - 25 feet, $2,124;

B.

26 - 50 feet, $2,124 plus $87 per foot beyond 25 feet;

C.

51 - 100 feet, $4,283 plus $94 per foot beyond 50 feet; and

D.

over 100 feet, $8,968 plus $122 per foot beyond 100 feet.
