473.23 PUBLIC FACILITIES REVIEW.

Subdivision 1.Inventory.

The Metropolitan Council, in consultation with appropriate state agencies and local officials, must develop an inventory of all public buildings located within the metropolitan area. The inventory must include an assessment of the condition of each public building and document any underused space in the buildings.

Subd. 2.Shared facilities.

The Metropolitan Council must review and comment on any joint facility proposed under section 123A.78 and may submit comments to the commissioner of education on any school district facility that is proposed within the metropolitan area.
