469.302 DESIGNATIONS OF ENTERPRISE ZONES.
§
Subdivision 1.Process.
The commissioner shall designate an area as an enterprise zone if:
(1) the application is made by the governing body of the city as prescribed by section 469.304;
(2) the area is determined by the commissioner to be eligible for designation under section 469.303.
§
Subd. 2.Duration.
The designation of an area as an enterprise zone is effective for ten years after the date of designation.
§
Subd. 3.Date of designation.
Designation is effective immediately following approval of the enterprise zone application by the commissioner.
