142I.02 LICENSING OF PROGRAMS.
§
Subdivision 1.Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to establish procedures and standards for licensing family child care and community-based family child care programs to ensure that minimum standards of care and service are given and the protection, care, health, safety, and development of the children are assured.
§
Subd. 2.Applicability.
A family child care program must be licensed under this chapter and chapter 142B to operate in Minnesota.
