86B.815 VIOLATION AS EVIDENCE IN CIVIL ACTION.
Subdivision 1. Prima facie evidence of negligence. In all civil actions, a violation of this
chapter by a party is not negligence per se but is prima facie evidence of negligence.
Subd. 2. Conviction record not admissible. The record of the conviction of a person for a
violation of this chapter is not admissible as evidence in a court in a civil action.
