     574.32 Application of payments. 

    If a claimant on a payment bond had actual knowledge or 
 should have known that a payment it received was for labor and 
 materials supplied under, or to perform, public work under which 
 a payment bond was provided, then the claimant must prove that 
 it applied the payment to its account for that public work.  Its 
 claim must be reduced to the extent it cannot so prove.
