     222.08 When consolidation forbidden.  


    The consolidation of the capital stock, lines, property, 
 franchises, control, or the power of control, of two or more 
 parallel and competing lines of railroad in the hands of any 
 corporation, trustee, agent, or representative of any 
 corporation, wheresoever situated, is hereby prohibited and made 
 unlawful.
