     17.455 Definitions. 

    Subdivision 1.    Applicability.  The definitions in 
 this section apply to this section and section 17.456. 

    Subd. 2.    Llama.  "Llama" means a member of the genus 
 lama that is raised for the purpose of producing fiber, meat, or 
 animal by-products or as breeding stock. 

    Subd. 3.    Owner.  "Owner" means a person who owns or 
 is responsible for the raising of llamas.
