148D.140 VARIANCES.
The board may grant a variance to the continuing education requirements specified in section
148D.130, when a licensee demonstrates to the satisfaction of the board that the licensee is
unable to complete the required number of clock hours during the renewal term. The board may
allow a licensee to complete the required number of clock hours within a time frame specified
by the board. The board must not allow a licensee to complete less than the required number
of clock hours.
