     148.623 Duties of the board. 

    The board shall: 

    (1) adopt rules necessary to administer and enforce 
 sections 148.621 to 148.633; 

    (2) administer, coordinate, and enforce sections 148.621 to 
 148.633; 

    (3) evaluate the qualifications of applicants; 

    (4) issue subpoenas, examine witnesses, and administer 
 oaths; 

    (5) conduct hearings and keep records and minutes necessary 
 to the orderly administration of sections 148.621 to 148.633; 

    (6) investigate persons engaging in practices that violate 
 sections 148.621 to 148.633; and 

    (7) adopt rules under chapter 14 prescribing a code of 
 ethics for licensees.
