145.135 UNIFORM DETERMINATION OF DEATH ACT.
§
Subd. 2.Determination of death.
An individual is dead if the individual sustains irreversible cessation of:
(1) circulatory and respiratory functions; or
(2) all functions of the entire brain, including the brain stem.
A determination of death must be made in accordance with generally accepted medical standards.
