124D.119 SUMMER FOOD SERVICE REPLACEMENT AID.
States funds are available to compensate department-approved summer food program
sponsors for reduced federal operating reimbursement rates under Public Law 104-193, the
federal summer food service program. A sponsor is eligible for summer food service replacement
aid equal to the sum of the following amounts:
(1) for breakfast service, up to four cents per breakfast served by the sponsor during the
current program year;
(2) for lunch or supper service, up to 14 cents per lunch or supper served by the sponsor
during the current program year; and
(3) for supplement service, up to ten cents per supplement served by the sponsor during
the current program year.
