     12.23 Facilities, utilization. 

    In carrying out the provisions of this chapter, the 
 governor and the governing bodies of the political subdivisions 
 of the state shall utilize the services, equipment, supplies, 
 and facilities of existing departments, offices, and agencies of 
 the state and of the political subdivisions of the state to the 
 maximum extent practicable.  The officers and personnel of the 
 departments, offices, and agencies shall cooperate with and 
 extend services and facilities to the governor and to the 
 emergency management organizations of the state upon request.
