     116J.59 Imprest funds, use. 

    The commissioner of employment and economic development may 
 use the money in the imprest fund of the department in order to 
 facilitate and expedite its business particularly in the making 
 of advances of moneys to officers and employees of the 
 department and members of the advisory committee for the purpose 
 of defraying the expenses of travel, subsistence, and other 
 similar expenses, and in meeting emergencies, and in accordance 
 with such requirements therefor as may be prescribed by the 
 commissioner of finance.  The imprest fund shall be reimbursed 
 for all moneys advanced in the manner prescribed by the rules of 
 the commissioner of administration.
