10A.35 COMMERCIAL USE OF INFORMATION PROHIBITED.
Information copied from reports and statements filed with the board may not be sold or used
by an individual or association for a commercial purpose. Purposes related to elections, political
activities, or law enforcement are not commercial purposes. An individual or association who
violates this section is subject to a civil penalty of up to $1,000. An individual who knowingly
violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
