89.21 CAMPGROUNDS, ESTABLISHMENT AND FEES.
(a) The commissioner is authorized to establish and develop state forest campgrounds and
may establish minimum standards not inconsistent with the laws of the state for the care and use
of such campgrounds and charge fees for such uses as specified by the commissioner of natural
resources.
(b) Notwithstanding section 16A.1283, the commissioner shall, by written order, establish
fees providing for the use of state forest campgrounds. The fees are not subject to the rulemaking
provisions of chapter 14 and section 14.386 does not apply.
(c) All fees shall be deposited in the general fund.
