600.14 INSTRUMENTS ACKNOWLEDGED; EVIDENCE.
Every written instrument, except promissory notes, bills of exchange, and the last wills of
deceased persons, may be acknowledged in the manner now provided by law for taking the
acknowledgment of deeds, and the certificate of the proper officer endorsed thereon shall entitle
such instrument to be read in evidence in all courts and elsewhere without other proof of execution.
