383B.453 BOND OF COUNTY RECORDER DEPUTY.
In each county of this state now or hereafter having a population of 500,000 or more, all
deputy county recorders and clerks in the office of the county recorder whose duties require the
collecting and receiving of fees or the handling of any funds, shall, before entering upon their
duties, give bond to the state in a sum to be fixed by the county board. The county shall pay the
premiums on such bonds where the surety is a corporation duly authorized by law to be surety.
