373.08 COUNTY, HOW NAMED IN SUITS.
In all actions and proceedings by or against a county, the name in which it shall sue or
be sued shall be "The county of .............." (insert name of the county). This provision shall
not prevent county officers, when authorized by law, from suing in their official names for the
benefit of the county.
