353B.03 COVERAGE AND TERMINATION OF COVERAGE.
Any person who was a member of a consolidating relief association and who is a police
officer or firefighter, whichever applies, in the municipality in which the consolidating relief
association was located on or after the effective date of consolidation shall be eligible for the
applicable benefit coverage provided for in this chapter.
Upon termination of active employment in the position which gave rise to the eligibility of
the person for coverage by this chapter, that eligibility for benefit coverage shall terminate.
