260.52 DEFINITIONS.
As used in the Interstate Compact on Juveniles, the following words and phrases have the
following meanings as to this state:
(1) "Executive authority" means the compact administrator.
(2) The "appropriate court" of this state to issue a requisition under Article IV of the
compact is the juvenile court of the county of the petitioner's residence, or, if the petitioner is a
child welfare agency, the juvenile court of the county where it has its principal office, or, if the
petitioner is the state Department of Human Services, any juvenile court in the state.
(3) The "appropriate court" of this state to receive a requisition under Article IV or V of the
compact is the juvenile court of the county where the juvenile is located.
