103D.231 DISMISSAL OF ESTABLISHMENT PROCEEDINGS.
If the board determines that establishment of a proposed watershed district in an
establishment petition would not benefit the public welfare and public interest, or would not serve
the purpose of this chapter, the board must, by order, dismiss the establishment proceedings.
A copy of the order dismissing the establishment proceeding must be mailed immediately
to the auditors of counties affected by the proposed watershed district, the commissioner, and
the director.
