     300.63 Attorney general to examine. 

    When required by the governor, the attorney general must 
 examine the affairs and condition of a corporation and report in 
 writing, together with a detailed statement of the facts found, 
 to the governor.  The governor must submit the report to the 
 legislature.  The legislature, or either of its branches, may 
 examine the affairs and condition of the corporation.  The 
 attorney general, or either branch of the legislature through a 
 committee appointed by it for that purpose, may administer oaths 
 to and examine the directors and officers of a corporation on 
 oath in relation to its affairs and condition, may examine the 
 vaults, books, papers, and documents belonging to it or 
 pertaining to its affairs and condition, and compel the 
 production of all keys, books, papers, and documents.
