2002 Minnesota Statutes

     390.23 Records of violent or mysterious death. 

    No person, other than the county coroner, medical examiner, 
 or judge exercising probate jurisdiction, shall issue a record 
 of death in cases of violent or mysterious deaths, including 
 suspected homicides, occurring in the county.
