     38.13 Commissioner of agriculture to examine books. 

    All books and affairs of all county agricultural societies 
 or any like societies receiving aid from the appropriation for 
 aid of county agricultural societies shall be subject to 
 examination by the commissioner of agriculture.  Each 
 agricultural society or association shall reimburse the 
 commissioner of agriculture for all expenses of the commissioner 
 incurred in examining the records and accounts of such societies 
 or associations.
