2000 Minnesota Statutes

     423.813 Payments exempt from process, assignment 
  forbidden. 

    Any payment made by the association under any provision of 
 sections 423.801 to 423.814 is exempt from any legal process, 
 except as provided in section 518.58, 518.581, or 518.6111.  No 
 person entitled to any such payment may assign the same.  The 
 association may not recognize any assignment or pay any sum on 
 account thereof.
