     355.58 Persons in positions covered by retirement system.

    Any individual who is in a position covered by a retirement 
 system referred to in section 355.56 and who is not a member of 
 such system but is eligible to become a member thereof shall, 
 for the purposes of Extra Session Laws 1959, chapter 50, be 
 regarded as a member of such system and any such individual 
 shall be treated, after the division of the retirement system, 
 the same as individuals in positions referred to in section 
 355.57.
