     502.73 Right of alienation suspended, when. 

    The period during which the power of alienation, within the 
 meaning of section 501B.09, may be suspended by any instrument 
 in execution of a power is to be computed from the time of the 
 creation of the power and not from the date of the instrument, 
 except that in the case of a general power presently 
 exercisable, the period is to be computed from the date of the 
 instrument.
