     92.28 Proceeds of sales; distribution. 

    The principal sums accruing from all sales by the 
 commissioner of school, university, internal improvement, or 
 other state lands, or of pine timber upon state lands must be 
 deposited in the several permanent funds to which they, 
 respectively, belong.  The sums may not be reduced by any costs 
 or charges of officers, by fees, or any other means.  Money 
 received as interest on the funds, as penalties, or as rents of 
 the lands, must be deposited in the current or general funds to 
 which they belong.  Interest and penalties on the internal 
 improvement land fund, and rents of the land, must be compounded 
 with the permanent fund.
