     518.5851 Child support payment center; definitions. 

    Subdivision 1.    Scope.  For the purposes of the child 
 support center established under sections 518.5851 to 518.5853, 
 the following terms have the meanings given. 

    Subd. 2.    Central collections unit.  "Central 
 collections unit" means the unit created under section 518.5852. 

    Subd. 3.    Local child support agency.  "Local child 
 support agency" means the entity at the county level that is 
 responsible for providing child support enforcement services. 

    Subd. 4.    Payment.  "Payment" means the payment of 
 child support, medical support, maintenance, and related 
 payments required by order of a tribunal, voluntary support, or 
 statutory fees. 

    Subd. 5.    Tribunal.  "Tribunal" has the meaning given 
 in section 518C.101.
