     514.29 Action to enforce; notice. 

    Within six months after the date of filing the lien 
 statement, the person having a lien shall commence suit for the 
 recovery of the charges by summons, in the usual form, before 
 the appropriate court against the person liable for the payment. 
 Before commencing any action to foreclose it, a lien claimant 
 shall give the person against whom the claimant proposes to 
 bring the action at least 20 days' notice in writing of 
 intention to foreclose it.
