     418.20 Firefighters, cities of first class; maximum 
  hiring age. 


    In cities of the first class no person may become employed 
 as a firefighter in such city's fire department after having 
 attained the age of 35 years, notwithstanding the provisions of 
 the veterans preference law and of Laws 1957, chapter 741.
